cabin air filter
#21

[quote name='wildwestrider' date='Sep 25 2005, 04:25 AM']Bob, any chance you might have some pics of this that you could email me?

I did something similar laying the filter paper out flat and holding it in place with another layer of expanded metal.  put them on the outside of the metal cover.  I would like to see yours however to see how it looks/works

If you have a pic or two could you send them to my direct email if you can't post them here?  My direct email is

bc1@joimail.com

Thanks,

Brian

Brian, sorry I do not have any pictures. If you pop off the metal mesh frame then install the furnace filter material and pop it right back on it will work fine. Good luck, bob blackwell.

Bob, do you cut the furnace paper so that it is larger than the opening and that the metal cover locks it in place??

If that is the case,........since there are lock tabs on the top and bottom of the metal cover,......do you jus make it wider,....so that it does not interfere with the top and bottom lock tabs??

Local mech did a couple of routine items this week and recommended that the cabin AF be changed. I thought - this is a convertible. Cabin air what???
