I'm supposed to go up to see my brother today and meet up with some Porsche people but my car won't idle. I think I need that dreaded DME and it's Sunday. Anyone have one in the Bay Area. I would of course pay you for it AND buy you a replacement. Desperate! Call my cell 805 453-1393.
Thanks,
Jarrod

After a "quick" juant up the coast to Sunnyvale from Santa Barbara (2 hours of bumper to bumper traffic from Salinas to Gilroy meant taking the 1 through Santa Cruz instead) I think it's the idle control valve. The car runs PERFECTLY except when it's idling. Confirmation with one of the best Porsche mechanics in the Bay Area means I'll be getting a new ICV in a couple days. In the meant time no idling... Guess I'll just have to drive it! Thanks EtherJoe for the DME offer. I'm ordering one tomorrow for sure!
