Anyone near Shingle Springs, CA?
#1

Hi All,

Ground Control is making some Bilstein struts for me. They have done 944's, but apparently this is their first 968. They need a used strut to make sure the air scoop mount is in the correct position. Can someone stop by and let Jay measure it, or supply him with a used strut?

Thanks!

Sure Dave -

I can let him measure my car, no problem. Will it require strut removal? Just curious.

I'm in Sacto, PM me when you get a chance.

Best,

-R

DaveC,

I see Mirror has already volunteered his car...

You also might want to drop Silver BLT (aka Ron) an e-mail (I haven't seen him on the boards for a while) - he's in the El Dorado Hills area. IIRC he did the Koni replacement an might still have his old struts lying around...

I doubt it, the old struts are modified to accept the Koni inserts and then put right back on the car. Usually the original struts are shipped in to offset the cost of the modified struts with inserts. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

The Ground Control Koni kit looks like a pretty good deal. Anyone running this setup?

Dave C - is there a reason you went with (what sounds like) a custom Bilstein setup? By the way, how did it turn out?
