Black Coupe with Red Interior
#1

OK, so this is not exactly a sighting since this previously unviewed 968 was at RS Barn on Saturday (where you would expect to see 968s).

I met the owner (Jon Brown) and absolutely loved the red interior he put into his Black coupe. I have been thinking about repainting my car Arctic Silver and installing a red interior and now I want to do it more than ever!

Now that Jon has found RS Barn I'm sure his "issues" will be resolved and the car is going to get better and better.

Regards,

Jay

I saw pics of it on RL, awesome interior for sure.
Glad he took it to Pete.

Now if we could get him to post some pics here for all to see...

Jon is moving to the Hershey area and I spoke to him on Sunday - he indicated he was very pleased with the work done by Pete on Saturday to resolve his problem.

Since he lives so close to me, we will be getting together soon. I will mention that he should post a photo but failing that, will take one when he stops by my garage.

I'm also considering doing my interior ( when the seats wear down a bit more ) with either the "boxster red" which
is more of a rust color than a typical red IMO, or the reddish-brown shade seen in the bmw M series.

Dan, that's a tough one as both are awesome colors. For me, silver exterior on red interior is the best! My buddy has a black 335i with a brown interior and I must admit, it is pretty awesome.

When I was looking at my 968, I almost bought a zermatt/can can (red) 951.
I wish I would have picked that car up.

One of my buddies in Pasadena has a black BMW645i with the two tone - dark red ( "wine" ) over dark grey trim - interior option . I drool everytime I am in that car. But with an Iris blue exterior ( as opposed to a midnight blue which I think would be more versatile to match with various colors options ) I believe I need to stick to something just a bit more contrast like the boxster red-brown or the M cars' red-brown.
