I think that's the support vehicle a la "Top Gear". First one who breaks down has to drive it the rest of the way in shame.

If that is a Corolla GTS Twin-Cam 16V it would not be "left in the dust" too easily. Back in 1985 my brother-in-law had a brand new one, and it was a LOT of fun!

I had a 1985 Celica GT-S Convertible...it was highly coveted for the 2.2 Liter motor. It was a good toy that ended up needing more work than it was worth. I was NOT embarrassed to drive it.
