So, I'm down in Sydney for a couple of weeks, and noticed there was a meeting of PCNSW last night. What the heck, I went over to the meeting and introduced myself. Talk about a warm welcome. Got to meet lots of great folks, including two who had their 968s there. Got to check out a nice Guards Red CS with some unusual features - rear seats, power windows, etc. The other was a midnight blue coupe - very nice as well.
Showed my photos from the 968 Celebration in Fairfax, as well as Parade, which were a big hit. Really interesting talking to some of our Aussie friends about owning Porsches Down Under. I didn't realize that the CGT will not be sold here, apparently due to it not being sold in RHD.
To those who travel, check on local Porsche Club meetings and drop in if you can. Great fun and highly recommended. Porschephiles are the same everywhere!

Chris,
I am a member and often attend the PCNSW meetings and other events. I agree, they are a great bunch of people, very friendly and passionate about Porsches. Glad you enjoyed the meeting. We invite any other members who are in town to come along. Second Tuesday of every month.
