wild and rare 968s on eBay
#1

This is the fifth wimbleton green cab I've registered, a rare color which looks great....

And at first, what looks like a normal "ho-hum" red 968 coupe, but check the interior!!!

LOL the fact that it wasn't left black is why my wife likes hers, but then again her car has a white exterior. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

On the other hand I would love to buy that green one but 2 is enough, at least when there is no more room in the garage.

i can definitely see a girl liking the color - it goes to the "form over function" choice of most women, whereas men are generally "function over form" - my better half likes her grey leather with woodgrain in the bmw too - it says "comfort" whereas the more traditional black or camel say "fast"

Couldn't disagree more, well I could but then this would be .Net. Personally it's not red enough for me.

well, alrighty then - no worries - they made them different for very good reasons

porsche did an extensive marketing study to determine the combinations of things to package so they could hit all segments of the market - they broke it down into 5 basic groups in their sales book - i think you fall into the "bon vivant" category

if i had an old jag, you could bet i'd have a wood dash and steering wheel, so i get the idea

Couldn't we just all chip in and buy these for the forum and share? I saw a beautiful green cab behind me today (Rt202 Norristown, PA), unfortunately I was in my company car. Not sure what green it was, but it seemed lighter than others I have seen, maybe it was Wimbleton? I envy you guys with more than 1!
