Another dump question....how do you...

I've unscrewed the 2 ends of the front brake hose but the top connector doesn't seem to want to come out of the hose bracket... I don't see any screws attaching the bracket to the wheel well - but I must be missing something simple in my frustrations....

...as my "helper" busted a bleeder screw off in the caliper by over tightening it by mistake. Nothing like learning by doing. We were doing the father-son bonding thing.

There is a metal clip that hold the line to the body. Pull the clip out.

Thanks I had finally figured it out myself. I had never seen a technique like that on a car. Once I cleaned it up with "crc brake cleaner" I could tell it was a separate part. Before they were all dark dirt black and looked as one. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]
