270 smog legal hp for 5k?
#1

I probably should have done it this way first, to eliminate responses other than "YES" or "NO".

To be clear, I am considering developing a centrifugal blower package that would produce approximately 270RWHP, be 50 state smog legal, run on 91 octane, and be able to be installed by any shadetree mechanic in a weekend. The cost for the first run would be about $5k each. This would include everything needed, including a new front plastic cover and a new air cleaner assembly.

This should not require any relocation of components (i.e alternator and AC compressor). It will NOT eliminate the Air Conditioning.

The entire idea is to be a simple bolt on, with no complications.

I am only going ot do one run of these at this price. After that a retailer will be handling it, with their appropriate markup.

This is a preliminary survey only. I am looking only for feedback from those who are SERIOUS about this. If I proceed, there will be a required Letter of Intent prior to proceeding.

those who vote yes, please email me at flash@9magazine.com so i can keep you apprised
