Ok, I have been wondering about this for some time now...

Whenever I drive "in town" past shops with windows, I can't help glancing sideways to see the 968 reflection in the windows. Puts a smirk on my face everytime.

Does anyone else suffer from what one of my daughters calls: "968 vanity"?

LOL. I use to make frequent trips to the garage at night just to look at it. Some nights, i'd sit in it to <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

I love the reflection I see when I get behind one of those big, oval-shaped, fuel trucks with the big silver rear. It's a thing of beauty!

Since I'm always the one driving it, I can't see what my car looks like on the road. I let my brother drive it once so I could check if the car's stance looked right in motion (this was after an alignment and ride height adjustment).



I'm guilty of checking the car's reflection in store windows while driving too. There's just something about seeing a car in motion that isn't captured in seeing it parked.

Absolutely... I had a fellow ask if it was "the new baby ferrari" at the gas station... he thought the Prancing Horse was a trademark of Ferrari!



It took a while to explain to him, but I think he finally got it... until he said "Well, Porsche sure has a nice new car to sell!"

I'm in the 12 step program as well. During the winter months I have been know to dissappear into the garage to stare at the car and I may even have been caught talking to her. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wub.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

Mine is fairly new (to me) and I make extra trips to the garage just to look at it. Even though it is a novel thing now, I just don't see that behavior changing.

Time for group therapy to deal with this obsession ? Aw, hell no ! , if you ask me it's the rest of the Non-968 drivers out there that need therapy to come to terms with what they're missing not owning this car .
