If my cash flow was better I would jump on it even though the top doesn't drop.

I'd like to see some pics, but I am giving this considerable thought. I don't think there's a Turbo S in Atlanta........yet!

I was close to pursuing it, but the wife put her foot down. I would have had to sell her cab, and she wasn't buyin' it!

[quote name='rustech' date='Jul 13 2005, 01:56 AM']I had the honey's permission, with money in hand, and decided against it. I don't like being rushed into any decision, would miss the cab (yes, she said I couldn't have both), and had concerns regarding drivability. Would have loved the power though.

I dont think you would miss the cab too much if you owned that car! If I wasnt a 21 year old college student then id go for it! Go get it!! fast!! lol

We discussed buying it to go with the cab and selling the cab after buying it.
But I also did not like being rushed as well as the high mileage of the car before going to Powerhaus and the low number of miles driven since the conversion.

[quote name='rustech' date='Jul 17 2005, 11:49 AM']PcarFan, you saw me over at the Renegade forum (if that's what you call it ) so you know I have a desire for more power.

By Renegade do you mean a small block in a 968?
Dan DeGrunchy took me for a rid around San Fran in his Powerhaus conversion. One ride in that will cure your desire for a V8.
I believe that John McCarters Powerhaus turbo is one of the early conversions with lower power output. Which could be a good thing. Dan had a lot of issues with his which as far as I know were taken care of by Powerhaus but it would be hard for me to send it back to them since it is about 1500 miles.

Is this car still available? It must have found a home by now, but if not, it would be interesting to check out (I live 20min from Norwalk). Flash, what is the problem with regitration and how bad is the cooling issue?
