968 Turbo S
#1

Ever since the 968 celebration in Hershey I've been wondering about the original 968 Turbo-S. Are there any in the states? Any one who reads the forum ever drive one? Anyone seen one for sale lately?

Just curious.

regards,

Richard

Hershey had 2 Original 968 Turbo's

One (red), is an original Factory Turbo RS Race car (1 of 4 made)

The second (Yellow) belongs to Pete Fitzpatrick of RS Barn. It is a factory Turbo R race car that Pete has brought up to RS Standard.

I believe that Jason at Paragon own an original factory turbo as well (Not sure if its an S (Flash is a smartass) or RS).

So, that's 3 out of the original 14.

Regards,

Jay

Porsche built 14 Turbo S cars for customers, 4 Turbo RS cars & another 2 Turbo S cars which they never sold. 20 total.

I's looked at the red photo. I saw a very interesting throttle valve. For every cilinder one throttle valve? It looks that way. But maybe someone have looked at it in Hershey? So what kind of throttlesystem is it?

Those would be the ITB (indivdule throttle bodies) that are being discussed in the other thread.
