968 stainless sill plates

It means that you have run afoul of the rules. Don't speak to any women in you home, they may be taping you. Be good say yes to everyone and smile. Hopefully it will all die down! Lol

it only means that IF the meter has any reading. the meter itself is there on everyone, but you can only see your own.

My meter went up every time I mentioned BMW's in a post.

Are you going to post a pic of the sample? I am curious how the end product turned out.

not likely. the sample is only going to be the sheet metal. i'm only running a sample of the sheet metal to verify fitment. i'm probably not going to run a sample of the powdercoating or etching. that stuff is pretty much a no brainer.

picked up the sample yesterday. will double check fitment this morning.

looks like i may do a vinyl overlay, rather than powdercoating and etching. that's how harvey did his, and it may just be the better way to go. i'll know for sure in the next day or so.

Good products, like good food, take time. I expect they will be on the site once Flash has them perfect.

Oh sure, that and its other version " good things come to those who wait " really translates to : yeah, but it'll be only the things that are left over by those who rush in and grab all the good stuff first .. Instant gratification, that's what life is all about baby ! - not enough time to waste on patience , LOL

LOL! I hear you ds. I think Flash indicated that he would send out an e-mail to those that had expressed interest on the D1R site. I know I sent 1 expressing interest AND a follow up just in case. I'm looking forward to some nice sill plates, and am feverishly checking the forum to make sure I don't miss out! Ha!

Have you completed dyno testing and will you be posting results? Lots of vendors claim that their sill plates add horsepower, but I need confirmed proof. If you don't post before and after dyno results taken at the same time on the same day in the same car at the same ambient temperature then I call BS.

I'm getting a dyno done tomorrow. Is that all I need to watch for?

I sent the email to him too but was thinking I may have missed the email and the sills. Glad to see they are still in process. Everything Flash makes is worth the wait!!
