968 RS
#1

I finally took the 968 RS to a dynojet yesterday for tuning and level playing field numbers. It had previously been tuned on a Mustang and a Dynocom . Each of those have varying HP numbers. The Dyojet limits some style of tuning but I was looking for comparison numbers that are considered very accurate and repeatable at other Dynojet facilities.

I had lowered compression from original build. Not really intended but not a bad thing either.

What is very evident is scary torque jump from 3K to 3.5K(130Ft/LB) and then 3K to 4K (163 Ft/LB)

The conditions were less than ideal. Temp 88F, 47% Humidity

Run 10 had best numbers. they we cut a chip and installed to make sure file loaded correctly.

Drop in power and boost is due to turbo cooling off.

Thank goodness we did't go today. 94 degrees and 80% humidity.

Very difficult to tune NA car under those conditions vs Turbo
