968 Posters
#21

Did you see the factory one with the red 968 cab, shot from the backside, with the ski rack and tire chains? Pretty cool!

How big is the 968 cutaway you have?

Do the prices on that website seem "fair" to you? Obviously some can be found for less money via Ebay and such, but....

They have the 968 cutaway... problem is it is huge! Nearly 41" x 31"! Not many places for me to put that bad boy except my office. I would prefer it be at home though...

They said it is an original factory poster (in German language of course!).

Just guessing, but those measurements may be metric.

If it's millimeters, that's a tiny picture and certainly nowhere near being worth 125 Euros!!

If the measurements are in centimeters, it is about 16" x 12".

Their website lists the poster as being 40.8" x 30.4"... not sure what is right but I can ask the guy to find out for sure.

lol - ebay

it was one of the pylon posters for the showroom - it's on card stock

however, i also have another version of it on computer file from the factory CD (that's right there was a factory CD) - only one i have ever seen though - at some point, after i make sure i am not infringing on any copyrights, i will figure out how to transmit files that large, or somehow convert it to pdf and post it here

Did you ever find out about copyrights on the CD? I have access to a wide format printer and I'd love to get a copy of that CD. Thanks.

There are numerous Porsche double sided adverts. I love the one that says - something like - "It's what happens when Engineer's work in an ivory tower - and have to drive on twisty narrow roads to get there"

I have only purchased English versions of the posters. There is also artwork that lists all of the 924/944/968 models which is good. Hopefully in around 18 months, when the new house is built and the rest of our stuff is out of storage, I will have somewhere to hang them all.

Others adverts are;

"Intoducing the Porsche 968 - Let the adjectives fly"

"You won't be shocked by the sticker. However, you may be shocked by the accelerator"

"Starting from a clean sheet of paper is fine - when you have nothing worth keeping"

"How to look like a million bucks"

"$39,850.00? For What?"

"Four other manufacturers have bought one - we wonder why?"

There is also a Porsche Technik brochure that shows the OE rear cab spoiler and front spoiler (WVK.100.906.00) for the 968 (plus other 964 mods).
