When I first got my 968, there were several things that caused me to panic. With help of this and a couple other lists (in my darkest moments) I was able to resolve all issues and learn a heck of a lot about this great car. Thanks, guys (and the great gal in Marietta,GA).



It's a good feeling to know that some potentially big stuff got sorted out. Ooops, I really should go knock on wood shouldn't I? It is still a Porsche after all.

Hey, great to hear that someone else has similar experiences! Thanks to all on this forum and Rennlist - I've learned a lot from my 951S - if you thought the 968 was complex, try a 944TurboS, you're lucky if you can see 80% of the widgets under the hood!



Now if I can only find the source of the fuel tank leak when I fill the tank to the top without having to spend 8 hours dropping the tranny, rear suspension etc before I can even get to the tank!

It's a Porsche....you have to pull the radiator to get to the fuel pump...or about that. They pack stuff in there tight. I find the 968 is easier (generally) to work on than the 928. More room for hands on the 968. It would be nice to have the hands of a small monkey sometimes.
