DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A 968 HEADLIGHT CONVERSION THAT CAN BE DONE IN ORDER TO ACCOMODATE FOR PERHAPS SOME HID'S OR EVEN A MORE ATTRACTIVE UPDATED PORSCHE HEADLIGHT??? I HAVE SEEN A 968 WITH A 993 (I THINK IT WAS THE 95' MODEL THAT WAS USED) STATIONARY HEADLIGHT THAT REPLACED THE POP UPS AND GAVE THE 968 AN UPDATED, MODERN AND MORE AGGRESIVE LOOK ALL TOGETHER.

the short answer is no, there is not a conversion out there yet



the 993 conversion in the steel fenders leaves the lights sticking up a bit, unless you are willing to pay a hefty chunk for new fenders that have been reworked to accept them



the hid conversions still leave unresolved aesthetic issues with the covers



tehre is an alternative being worked on as we speak, but it is not done yet, and i have no idea how good it is going to come out - it will involve a completely new fender
