968 Forums Member Map
#41

if you came on AFTER then, i haven't added you yet. Again, sorry... and i'll get back to it as soon as I can.

Looking forward to "seeing" myself on the map. Great job. It helps us locate other 968 owners in the "area". For example, I did not know there was a 968 owner in Lynden, Wa. He is closer to me than the Dave in Cambell River, BC. Cheers.

What does it take to get posted here? I wrote to JC 3 times over the past 2 months asking to be posted IN Tigard OR. I gave all my information, filled out forms and I am still not posted on the site. As I live in a state and an area where there are so few 968's located it would be nice to be on the map!

JC has ben really busy and unable to update it for a while

now that the SC project is coming to a close, i see some time opening up, and i can take over the management of the map - you can expect to see a lot of additions and hopefully catching up over the next couple of weeks

So I guess you are going to handle the map yourself? William Moss- Tigard OR

i plan to spend the weekend updating it - it shouldn't take me long - JC did most of the work already - after that, it will only be a few minutes a week

I have not been updated on the members map yet. Moved from MA to NC and changed my profile in Sept. 2010. I am requesting an update when you can get to it.

Thanks,

Carl

I'm really late to the party - is that the new map that shows now from the link, or the old map?

I don't think this is a great use of your time flash, we'd rather you were working on the Design 1 Racing Cup Holder or something nifty instead of updating a map. Let me know if you want to sub it out and I'll take over as Map Meister while you do more important things.

The map is a really good idea and thanks to the people who did the work. Are most members on there or do a lot opt out? And how often is it updated? (I am not on yet.)

funny you should pick up this thread. this fell off of the "to do" list, and has been ignored for some time now. as a part of an overhaul, over the next few weeks we are going to be looking into updating the map, and having it automatically populate from the database.
