Hi Everybody!
Let me introduce myself. I am Martijn, 36 years old comming from Ede in The Netherlands.
For a couple of years I have driven a 944S2 convertible,a very nice car, but I was missing something. Last year december I sold the 944 and bought a 968 L37W blue targa. Boy o boy what a fun I have with that machine, easy handling and formidable on high speed.
There is a good thing about The Netherlands, our east border neighbour is Germany and...... in Germany on some roads there is no speed limit. I live only a 30 minute drive from the border so I am the lucky one. On the speedometer the car is a bit over enthausiastic, but on navigation you can see that the car really is doing everythinh Porsche promised 19 years ago and even better. (260kmh+ on the navigation = app. 277 kmh on the speedo)
Anyhow sometimes it is not only fun and the car (named Thomas by the way)needs some TLC. In the coming weeks I will change my brakes with a good friend. Also I am thinking to add Koni yellow shock absorbers and lower the Car just 2 cm. (less than an inch <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/cool.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />)
For all the TLC I hope I can learn things here and off course meet people with the same passion!
Cheers for now!
Martijn
