Hi Everybody!

Let me introduce myself. I am Martijn, 36 years old comming from Ede in The Netherlands.

For a couple of years I have driven a 944S2 convertible,a very nice car, but I was missing something. Last year december I sold the 944 and bought a 968 L37W blue targa. Boy o boy what a fun I have with that machine, easy handling and formidable on high speed.

There is a good thing about The Netherlands, our east border neighbour is Germany and...... in Germany on some roads there is no speed limit. I live only a 30 minute drive from the border so I am the lucky one. On the speedometer the car is a bit over enthausiastic, but on navigation you can see that the car really is doing everythinh Porsche promised 19 years ago and even better. (260kmh+ on the navigation = app. 277 kmh on the speedo)

Anyhow sometimes it is not only fun and the car (named Thomas by the way)needs some TLC. In the coming weeks I will change my brakes with a good friend. Also I am thinking to add Koni yellow shock absorbers and lower the Car just 2 cm. (less than an inch )

For all the TLC I hope I can learn things here and off course meet people with the same passion!

Cheers for now!

Martijn

Hi Marijn and welcome. This forum sure has a lot of information helping you with the TLC required. Also have a look at the Dutch porscheforum where there is a dedicated topic for 968 owners. We regulary have meetings at different locations throughtout the Netherlands.

Jaap
Welcome!
Dear All, thank you for your welcome!

@Jaap: I am also member of the Dutch Porsche forum and know the special 968 topic. Probably I will attent one of the TLC meetings in Aalsmeer, my 968 came from this workshop. Next to this I am also member of the 944 forum. On the Porsche forum I am known as Dreamer, on the 944 forum I use my first name.

Once more, thanks everybody!

Hopefully tomorrow we can cruise arround a bit, today it is raining cats and dogs
