And, in that unlisted category of best wheels, the honor goes to...

Cosimo and Anchorman both have very nice rims. If that were a category, I'd have a hard time choosing.

No problem - the polls are open, votes are still being taken.

Note, also, that I wasn't so presumptuous as to name the winner!

I dunno... Jeff's purple cab with the Lambo doors had wheels with serious bling.

Glad I didn't have to vote...

All of my pics are now available on Photbucket.

The password is a very carefully selected secret code (968Newtown) if anyone would like to add until the free box fills.

I'm trying to put a selection of pics in 968Forum gallery, but keep getting stopped. Eric, did I use too much space?

Final $$$ tally is in, a few dollars lost, no great pains, and we were happy to have you all here. Would consider doing it again, but don't ask for a month or so.....

Thanks for making our weekend, looking forward to seeing you all next year.

I was glad to see Jeff brought the tricked out 968 but I really wanted to check out the Noble. He was a very nice guy and showed me some of the Noble stuff he had with him. Poor guy had it for 2 weeks and some guy rear ended him trying to take a photo of the car while driving. His 968 mods weren't something I would normally do but he enjoyed them and I liked checking them out and he provided some good tunes. If you saw some of his pictures the 968 was doing some car show rounds with a McLaren F1 so it is always in good company.

Flash stay away from those wheels.

Hmmm...Nova Scotia....would be nice in the summer, not too hot, not too cold, I bet maybe they have some really nice roads like in the British Isles where EVO, CAR and TOP GEAR magazines do their testing and car comparos....nice curvy deserted roads.......tasty! True, a bit of a drive for most of us though.

I agree, Pete's silver coupe with his 17" rims are da bomb

Hi guys--

My first post...can't believe I've been missing this.

Marty and I can't tell you all how much we enjoyed the weekend, and add our thanks to Pete and Jay.

I really liked Jeff's car too...I would have put Pete's rims on that car...love those lights!

I would be very happy to host a Celebration but I would fear that there might only be two cars due to the distance (both of them mine!). Seriously, I would love to do it but would anyone really drive that far?

There is a great road that we could take that ends in a lobster dinner....

All it takes is a few positve responses.

Just wanted to add my congratulations to Pete and Jay for a great event and a special thanks to Anchorman who took pity on me when I was lost and lead me to the wash and shine. While the cars were great, I was more impressed with the folks I met. I think the owners and guests were wonderful. Tech sessions were quite informative and, considering the possibility of scarce parts, a little frighting. So disappointed I could not make the entire weekend. Maybe next year if Pete and Jay are willing!

Thanks for a great time.

First post! I thought I was tech-savvy, but I've been missing a lot! I had no idea this marvelous forum existed! Of course, if I hadn't met you all last weekend I probably wouldn't be as interested.

First, a big THANKS to Jay and Melva and the Fitzpatricks. I hope all the gratitude posted here makes you feel like it was worth all the trouble! Wow, that was fun! Thanks also to everyone who posted photos.

We had a blast on the fun ride. Jay, you sure know your Porsche roads. Beautiful. Route 1 and the turnpike traffic going home were such a come down after that.

Steve and I have obsessed over our Porsche's for years but until this weekend I didn't realize I was part of a cult - I mean, I knew I was part of the Porsche cult but I wasn't aware of the healthy 968 subcult. I hardly ever even see another 968 - 20 of them lined up was mind boggling. Way cool! And what a great group of people!

Gotta tell ya I'm still glowing over "Best coupe in show." Thanks, everybody!
