968 Sighting Newtown, PA
#1

Today was totally amazing at RS Barn.

We are in Winter funk with lots of half finished projects. Most awaiting some part from several manufactures who swear it will be shipped soon. OK move on

Three customers arrived from 3 to 4pm to drop off cars. One needed to be dropped of at Trenton train station to head to DC.

When we left RSB at 5pm a Black/Casmire 968 wizzed past us at German ave!!! In front of my blinkin shop.

I set off in hunt and luckily caught at next light. I extended my card and said a 968 specific shop was 200 yards away. He said, I've been looking for you for a while, but didin't have your address.

Totally local guy without any web knowledge or info. New Forums guy I mighnt say!!

Good work... That is one great thing about the Barn... no matter how busy its is, you always seem to go out of your way to welcome all...

BTW... I am going to get you a larger space heater as an advanced Father's Day gift!

Pete,

Thanks for spending the time talking with me and my dad.

And a big thanks for your help!

Pablo,

It was nice meeting you. Give me a heads up when you are going the track, if time allows I would like to come hang out.

It was my pleasure Patrick. I certainly look forward to seeing you and your dad at the track. South of PA, I am shooting to do at least two VIR and a few Summit events this year. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there is anything I can do to help from up here. I travel to DC area fairly often.

Cheers

You know, Pete--the Barn seems like quite a happening place! I might have to sojourn up there some time... <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

Hey Ralph,

You can follow me back to Newtown. I would like to put together a fun run like last year, just a bit short on time.

Regards,

Jay
