First off let me say Thank You for myself and friend Bobby for allowing us to attend even though I did not bring a car. I have been active in many PCA events, I maintain the US CARRERA Registry for PCA national, I am a PCA national drivers ed instructor, a PCA F stock 968 racer, and have learned a few things over the years. A succesful event has to be judged by quality not quantity, we all have attended events with a lot of people but no fun and too much attitude. I attended the 968 celebration this year to get some idea of the kind of event this would be, and it is an example of how to best put on a Porsche event, well organized, well planned and best of all attended by true Porsche entusisits. I would second any attempt to have next years event at an ALMS race at Road Atlanta. I would also throw out the 12hrs of Sebring in March or the PCA club race at Sebring in February. Both events are well attended and perhaps an excuse for a Florida vacation during that time of year might draw.
In closing let me say that next year I WILL bring a car and look forward to the next 968 Celebration.
