968 Celebration at Hershey 2010

WOW! What a fantastic event this year at the 968 Celebration! We, my husband Charl and myself, have been to 4 968 celebrations and every year I say" Boy it can't get any better then this!" Then it seems like it does. It was so good to see old friends we have made Don and wife, Dorren and Richard, Darryl and Christine, Cosmo, Kathy and I know I am forgeting some. To all the new friends we made hope to see u next year.
What a fantastic collection of 968's one prettier then the next and just fun to see. The party started on Friday and continued till the dinner on Saturday.
Many thanks to Bob, Pete, Max,Kathy, Darryl, Jay Jeff and Don you all put together a fantastic event I loved every minute of it. The hotel was beautiful, Kathy what a great spread of food at the meet and diner was great on Saturday.
I can't say how proud I am of winning the Best of Coupe award, every Porsche there looked like a best of show. To the other winners WAy to go guys and gals.
I don't know every ones user name but mine is my liscense plate but I am Ginger.
Lastly any one who has a 968 and hasn't attended a 968 Celebrations u don't know what u r missing it is worth the trip! Put us down for next year!! Thanks to all I have a few pictures but I don't know how to post them. I am not good with computers at all. Thanks to every one who posted pictures.

BTW - does anyone know what happened to Kim? I tried to arrive late enough on Friday for us to hoist a few together, but we weren't successful...despite my being late enough.

few pics i uploaded today. The black 968 with black wheels i found lurking in the lot. On the way home we stoped at the Chocoolate factory and had our own wrapper made in memory of the great weekend. The 993 pictured was also at hershey and lived in my neck of the woods...the last 100Miles of the trip we drove together.

ok, it's hard enough to tolerate 944s among our elite vehicles, but I hope none of you let let that piece of crap GT park anywhere near the 968s

Dan, the CGT was told move his POS or it would be towed to the nearest junkyard.
They were a little nicer to CGT than the old 944. :-(

Not true, I wanted those POS Red Carrera's out of the line...how rude. You would think that "Car Guys" would get it...

Sheesh,

Hey Rico,
That's a great picture of the cars in the lot at the restaurant.
You caught me on the right side in the shadows.

It's now my desktop on my computer at work. Thanks!

I would not doubt if you see Dino's car with those mirrors in the future. I'm trying to talk him out of it.

Nice. Now it's time for Flash to post the lunch photos from Paso Robles on that thread so the east coast folks can see the ( fewer at this last gtg, but nonetheless rockin' good time folks ) of the west coast. Lol, Bob did not want to put up the photos before the Hershey event because if someone had zoomed in the photos the 968Forums etching on the wine glasses might show and spoil the surprise
