Yesterday I was going south on I-83 just north of the 695 and I saw a silver 959 stuck in traffic due to an accident. From my view it looked like the real thing but could have been a body kit. My heart nearly skipped a beat when I saw it!

At Monterey in 2010:
I still think our cars would look good with that recessed area at the back of the hood.

Really didn't care for the looks as a cab.

I'm guessing that car started as a 911 Cabrio and then got a body kit added? I've seen it driving up Rt 28 once or twice. Had to catch up to it to see what it was but since there were no 959 Cabs, I knew it was a wanna be.
I don't mind real kit cars (think Shelby Cobra) but I don't like it when people take a perfectly good car and add junk to it to try and make it something else. I love the 959....it's probably my favorite.....it was way ahead of it's time and is considered by some to be one of the first true "super cars". Got to see a real one at the New Hope, PA auto show a couple of years back.

I'm beginning to think the one I saw on the road was an actual 959. There seems to be many people in this area that drive their exotic cars regularly. There's a 458 Iltalia I see almost everyday on the road. Rain, snow, salt covered roads, he's out on the highway with it. There's also a Gallardo, AM DB9, and a few Bentleys I see regularly through the winter here. Crazy, but awesome that people actually drive their cars rather than letting them rot in a garage.
