?stock 2006 997 18in wheels for track use?
#1

What are your thoughts on the use of stock 18in 8in front ET57mm and 10in rear ET58mm 997 Carrera III 5 spoke wheels for race/track use on an E class 968? The wheels weigh 22.8lbs front and 22.9lbs rear?

Are they strong enough?

thanks

Dave

I have the same question, I do like the look of them, and have seen them on track cars. But not sure on the fit.

i swear i've seen those on a 968 - they'll definitely fit - weight isn't bad at all - nice simple look - easy to refinish if you want

as to strength, they are on a heavier car with a lot more power, so i would think they would hold up fine

Weight of 2006 997 is only 3131 lbs, so very close to 968 weight.
