I recently replaced my cap and rotor. I took a bunch of pictures along the way with the intent of putting up a DIY.
Unfortunately, I don't seem to have sufficient permission to post on the DIY subforum.
Also, the DIY that I put together is a Word document which cannot be uploaded. I assume I need to convert this to a pdf.
Any guidance on how to get this thing onto the DIY subforum and how to get it converted to a format that I can upload?
I don't have Adobe Acrobat on my computer.

This has been languishing for a while, but my motivation was renewed by a post this morning with questions about replacing the distributor cap.
My DIY might actually be useful to someone smile.gif Who knows...

DIY posting was restricted because we got a LOT of people posting stuff that was not really a DIY - the software did not allow for specific limitation of posts as actual instructional documents

send it to the admin address located on the home page in the FAQ section - send it in PDF form - the file size is limited to 500k - you will be credited for the DIY

contact the admin via email if you have any issues

Jamie,
to convert a file to pdf, you can try a freeware program called "cute-pdf". http://www.cutepdf.c...ePDF/writer.asp
safe, effective, free

BTW,
Microsoft Word has a "word to PDF" option. You might have to down load from the MS Office site, but it a one time thing and stays in file/save as. It is free. I use it all the time

Thanks Flash.
I got your e-mail and appreciate the input.
I wanted to take another picture to fill in a gap along with the changes, but have been totally swamped. wacko.gif
Will get to it soon.
Sorry for the delay...
