I think posting volume has always dropped at the end of "Driving Season" in the colder climes.

 

I expect it will rise again as people start winter projects.

Yes, here in CA we're already experiencing the bitter cold signs of the winter facing us ; today it was a bone chilling 81 degrees ! Time to store the 968 away under the the fur-lined cover I bought just for this occasion .

Dan - here we generally in the past have ordered car covers made with genuine imitation Saskatchewan sealskin. This year they will be made of genuine recycled cannabis rolling paper infused with DNA and lipstick.  They are a real smokin' deal I hear.

It's dipped into the low 80's here in Central Texas as well.  We're just getting into our prime driving (tracking, to be more specific) season!

Kim, as long as clubbing baby seals is not involved, I have no objection to any given number of polyesters that have to be sacrificed in the process of making car covers or seat covers :-) :-)

I haven't posted because I was busy studying and trying to decide how to vote in the election.    My method might have deficiencies, but each day for a month I flipped a coin and recorded the results, I built up a spreadsheet with this data complemented with prolific political arguments.   Through this experiment I found the average turned out to be 50% heads and 50% tails.  Seems like a reasonable way to vote, at least I have an analytical method, rather than what seems to be all too common -- emotional decisions.

the statistics of that are fairly to understand. very similar to the concept that the probability of an infinite number of monkeys, using an infinite amount of paper and having an infinite amount of time, of being able to write the entire works of Shakespeare verbatim is exactly equal to one.

Is this similar to : all 968 owners are brilliant drivers but not all brilliant drivers are ( lucky enough to be ) 968 owners ?

While great minds think alike, this might be an indefensible stretch.Now if you were to just use the two of us as examples with Jay as a back up I might be more agreeable to your statement!
