Tried to buy this care last year but current owner wanted it back (he had owned it previously as described in the ad).

Aggressive price: I hope he gets it (but I'm skeptical).

Trevor (PorscheG96) is on the forums here. His other car is the 1 of 1 Riviera Blue coupe.

What's important to note here is that there were only 99 cars that came to the US with the M030 sport package. To replicate it now (and make it a serious player in autocross, if that's what you're into), would cost ~$7-8k for new parts (Suspension, brakes/spindles, swaybars, wheels), or you'd spend a year or two waiting for used parts to come up for sale and still pay ~$3-4k for the parts.

Hope he gets the money for it - he seems pretty meticulous about his cars and knows them well.

Trevor's cars are "No Excuses"...the price is a fair reflection of the M030 rarity and meticulous maintenance.

Jay

Sale pending.  It's a really nice car and hate to see it go but have no more space. :(  I blame the GT3...

Bill, I know you wanted to buy the car and hopefully you understand that I had an agreement to rebuy it 4 years ago.  If it's any consolation, there was a decent list of deferred maintenance items and 'issues' that I spent the past year sorting out.  Cost a fair bit of time and $ but it's up to my standards again!

Trevor

Thanks for the update. I'm sure the car is in great shape. I looked at several other 968's after you bought this one back and ended up with a very nice one. Not M030 but I had all the suspension needed to create the equivalent and the clean car i found had only 43K miles. So things always happen for a reason...
