I've been working on this file on and off for about a year and a half now, and I guess it's time to finally put it up.
Below is a list of parts differences from model year to model year. There are a number of things that changed, making each year slightly different. Some things happened midstream within the same model year, some at the model year change. Some were for performance. Some were for cost cutting. Some were aesthetics changes.
While I have endeavored to be as accurate and complete as possible, anomolies and exceptions are constantly being found. If you find something to be incomplete, in error, or otherwise amiss, please contact me via PM or email and I will update the list.
I won't go into colors (paint or interior) as there have been found way too many cars that were color changed at the dealer (just myself i've seen 3 complete interior color changes, and 1 exterior color change), or as special order, to begin to list what went to what year, and have any sort of accuracy. The list of standard colors for each year is available in Peter Morgan's book, and will soon be visible in a new thread which will be entitled "968 Colors".
I also will not go into what options applied to each year, as again, there were too many exceptions, with many buyers adding options to a car after the dealer took delivery, but as a part of purchase.
