Anyone in the Chicago area have one of the Bosch "Hammers" that they would consider renting for a few days while I do some diagnostic work on my 968?
Nearest dealer is two hours away and appointments are a major pain to make, plus the labor rates for diagnostic work are no fun either!
I gather the "Hammer" is relatively easy to use, and tells all about our orphaned Porsches...
PM with a price and time frame. If you need to ship it, I will pay for shipping insured both ways.

if the tools are useable across models you might consider posting to the 944/968 or other Rennlist forums for a larger audience. . .

Actually, I think the 92 968 was the first use for the Hammer, other than in the 964 Series... Don't think the 944's used them ...
