i don't think any 16" wheel clears M030 brakes - i think you need to run 17" to do that

I may be mistaken, but don't the 1988 944 Turbo S and 1989 944 Turbo come with forged 16" Club Sport wheels, in 7's and 9's, both with M030 brakes?

The 951S has Forged wheels that clear the MO30 Calipers- These are actually excellent wheels for the 968.

Very Light and strong 7.5 front and 9" rear. For the track these work great with 225 and 245 Hoosiers

so how come everybody has been saying that 16s don't fit? is it just he C2 16s that came on this car? was that more misinformation?

I think it has to do with the ET or offset of the wheel. I have a set of 16 inch, flat dish, wheels that look like early 928 wheels which fit fine over my M030 front brakes. These wheels are 6x16 and likely came off a 924 Turbo. They make good daily driver/bad weather wheels and give excellent gas mileage with the skinny tires. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

I have two sets of flat dish and I understand FORGED OEM Porsche wheels in 7F and 8R, the style used on 928 and 931 (924 Turbo) as described by Bob. I was trying to assemble a set of (4) 8's but moved away from that idea so they are now available. One of the best kept secrets of Porsche wheels.

Pete, I also like the 951S wheels as well, but they do command a greater premium. Also, to get 1" differential front to rear if desired is tough - I believe the rare 8" 951S style Club Sport wheels command big $$.
