Winter sleep
#1

Today we had to divert to our alternate since the frictions coefficient was at the lowest I've seen this season and we were seeing some 30 knots gusting crosswind - at least it was an easy decision for me (customers can indeed be troublesome given the right excuse).

Well. this is actually great news to me since this airport is where my blue 968 sleeps during the winter. It shares the hangar with a Gulfstream 550 (neat bird btw), a Embraer Legacy (no, a djungle jet doesn't work well in frozen up Scandinavia) and my little Citation Sovereign - nice company indeed.

Anyway, I took the cover off and just looked at it. Damn, this is indeed a great looking car and DAMN do I miss spring!

No this is not my Porsche, it is simply my daily driver.

Now this is what I'm talking about...

Very nice car. Makes my stock one look so boring. I love the spoiler. If only I had a bunch of extra cash to buy one.

Thank you. I am very pleased with it, as you should be with yours, as 968s are truly amazing perfomers. I have driven the Koenigsegg CCX (870 rwhp and 2400 lbs) and compared to my 968 it would have gotten to eat poo on the slow track (on faster tracks it is a different story but so is the money).

Spoiler is Deutsch Nine Turbo RS version 2. Money well spent indeed...

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!
