have you adjusted it at the rear armatures, per the instructions in the cab top manual?

I found that the handle receiver part that's held on by the three bolts had some adjustment leeway. Sort of like the front hood latch. Course my bolts holes might have been buggered out by the previous owners, who knows!

This might go without saying, but make sure those bolts are tight. When my top was making noise, that turned out to be the problem.
