What do you think? RUF Speedline refurbished

Jeeeeej! Finally, after weeks and weeks of waiting (the guy had to start over 3(!) times over) my wheels look like new. Searching for the right silver colour to match the hubcaps was a challenge, but it turned out great!

I used to have a set of those wheels, they're worth a pretty penny these days!

Thanks for the comments!

I will never, ever, ever sell these wheels. Did you sell them to go 18" G96?

They removed a few mm of old paint, so they only got lighter :-)

I'm just guessing here, but are they 17" and if so, what offset are they front/rear? I have thought about RH wheels but most I've seen are 18s and I don't want to compromise too much ride by giving up tire height. Basically, I want to fill in the rear wheel well without increasing overall wheel/tire height or creating a rock-hard ride quality. I want to stay with something like a 993 Cup (Cup 2) look or speedline.

Anyone know a good solution or the correct specs I should stay with on a 17 inch wheel?

Yes, 17"

Front ET: 56,7 - 8J (I added a 5 mm spacer)

Rear ET: 44 - 9J

If you don't want to change the diameter of the wheels and fill the wheel wells more, I don't think you can do that without lowering the car (adjust ride height).

Phillipe, thanks for the specs! I think I failed to articulate what I meant....I am fine with moving from 16 to 17 but if I move to 18 inch wheels , in order to maintain an overall wheel/tire diameter I'd have to go to a very low profile tire. I think I may be able to pull of the desired look with 17 inch wheels if I get the right offset. You are correct however, if I still end up increasing the overall diameter I will have to lower the car to keep that sleek look. I have seen some pics of 968s on 18 inch wheels that with the tire combination raise the car height so much it begins to look like a family truckster.

Thanks again for the info!

One of my favorite wheels on this car. They are a bit porky, but they look phenomenal. Nice!
