website update
#1

well just saw new update.

Was going to post a listing I saw of a 968 for sale in my local area on craigslist, but now I can't find anything.
Don't know where classifieds went. Maybe they got nuked.
Funny posts, links for posted photos/memes broken. Nothing showing.

I understand things change, but change for the sake of change that doesn't actually make things better or solve a specific problem is not good change.
To me this just broke things.
I don't like to have to keep relearning things I already knew how to do. Too much going on everywhere else, no time or interest to do so.

So have to say I am not happy with the change. Just one opinion for what it's worth.

If the rest like it, so be it.

The change was required to keep the site running, the old version was too old to be able to run on web hosts, so the site was actually down this morning as it got shutoff. The attachments and pictures are still processing and are on there way now.

Thanks

Ah. Yes I see it looks somewhat more like the old version.
Sorry, it's me. I don't like change.
I am sure everyone will come to love it.
Have fun.
PS- no way to just upload a profile avatar that I can see unless you use the app.
I don't use apps.

Thanks.
Yea I found that, but you have to use the ap. No more just uploading a photo.

I don't use cell phones for anything online and I don't use apps. I have a 12 year old phone lol.
I wish I still had my pager and landline.
I have been divesting myself of all the recent surveillance capitalism as much as I can.
This is literally the only social media account I own.
No youtube, no instagram, no google, no facebook, twitter, or other accounts.
If I have to create a free account for anything, I move along. I run about 5 or 6 ad & tracker blockers.
Not paranoid I just don't think every company needs to know what websites I use online.
I am even working on the same goals with life. I do all my errands and can't wait to get back home. I avoid a lot of drama this way.
I am embracing my inner Luddite. It's fun.

Actually I wish I could sell my car, I don't hardly drive it as I don't really enjoy driving anything much anymore.
I don't enjoy trying to navigate around the way others drive most of the time. Too rude and too distracted. I would rather just stay home. All my stuff is here.

It works for me. Gives me more time to work on my photography.

Thank you and anybody else involved for taking care of that. It would have been a shame to lose such a wealth of information on 968.
