In just the month since the site updates and upgrades, and those changes allowing the search engines to see the site, our site again getting back on top in those search engines. We fell down when security measures were implemented a couple of years ago. That tide has now turned. Only Google has not caught up yet, and that should be soon. Of course we will never likely overtake Wikipedia, but we will be back as the #1 enthusiast site very soon.



If i had to guess, there is more traffic and participation here than all other 968 sites combined.



It's all because of the members.

thanks - we will continue to work hard to maintain it as the ultimate 968 site - i will continue to add things to it to keep it on top - i will let no other site surpass this one, regardless of the personal cost



i sure wish we had a campaign to let others who are on other sites but not this one, know about it proactively rather than reactively - there are a number of people who miss out on the site due to some blather bandied about by some unhappy miscreants - i've tossed around the idea of a "tell a friend" rewards program - i just haven't figured out how to do that without starting a "poaching war" - i don't care if people go to other sites, but that doesn't mean they should miss out on this one

Like Porsche, simply the best!! This thread reminded me, Id always meant to donate to the site. Its not much, but its the least I can do. The upgrade wasnt cheap, and Im sure I hog up my fair share of bandwith round here.
