just because the tires were missing that bright streak designed to distract other drivers trying to figure out what exactly it is that's spinning, I'm adding this small decal to them . have not peeled off the backing yet, so they're just placed there to see how they'd look ..

I you have used Tire Shine or some other product like that you may find the decals will never stick. It was impossible to mask my tires when I was doing a bit of touch-up due to the infusion of that stuff into the rubber.

i would think superglue should work, but maybe not..I'll test the regular ahdesive backing this weekend and if that does not last, I suspect superglue can take care of just about any non-sticky issues.. ?

Short lived experiment ; neither the stock adhesive nor the additional rubber glue holds the decals in place on the tire lip. i guess they are only meant for glass, plastic, aluminum, etc surfaces , and ones which do not heat up while driving..
