I have a MO30 limited slip 968. When I first start to drive it is difficult to shift from 1st. to 2nd. After the oil heats up the difficulty disappears. Going from 3rd to 2nd is not as difficult but it is not perfect. I shift slowly going from 1st to neutral wait a second or two and then into 2nd. Any thoughts on this problem. Pete who I bought the car from said that in cold Pennsylvania winter chills it was almost impossible to shift until the oil got warmed from driving.

I have always tended to double clutch my 944, S2 and the 968 in the mornings until the oil warms up. I shift that way normaly anyway but it is a must on these cars with cold oil unless you like waiting..... to shift [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img]
