Is it the new living location that had you go to a "coupe-de-968"? We knew you wouldn't be able to stay away for long.

It's a title for a 94 coupe with your name on the bottom. Is there more to the story than you apparently getting a 968 again?

Thanks... well it's not quite a Turbo S... However a Turbo is in the future. I would have never found the car if it was not for 968forums.com Recoil a temporary member found the site and posted the for sale listing for his boss.

When it was posted or shortly after I was actually on hold to buy Raj's M030 Coupe he had two other buyers that showed interest before me. I offered to make a deposit after Raj and I exchanged emails. Raj said it was only fair that he goes in order. I understood that, since it is a small community and such a well known car.

While waiting for Raj's call I came across this car. I had always thought EricK's car was executed with such class and style. Although Red was not really my favorite color. I really wanted a Riviera Blue or SY Coupe. Having the 996 I have determined I am a coupe type of guy. So after speaking with Steven about his bosses car I knew I had to make a move. It has 56K on the OD, all service records, belts changed twice on accident in the last 10K miles, 1 adult owner. The Carfax report showed one record the day it was registered to the new owner. Garaged every day of it's life both at home and the office. Driven occasional by an exec at a computer hardware company, Basically a pampered car. Best of all it is a Factory M030. I feel like I got it for a steal... They had an offer on the car at $18K that fortunately for me fell through a week or so before I called them. I ended up getting it for even less ! Raj ended up calling me 2 days after I had made verbally sealed the deal with Steven. Unfortunately I passed on the SY Coupe, It worked out for the best I hear Raj is keeping the car after all.

I am very excited the car will be delivered via a transport company tomorrow. I have not seen the car but from what I have heard I won't be disappointed. Steven was a pleasure to work with. So I will post some more pics when I have some to show for now check out...

Eric,

They sure do! Last year, I picked up the Amazon Green 968 in Denver, and then went west and explored the mountains. Crossing the Continental Divide was one of the suplerlative experiences in my life! You should have wonderful time in Colorado!

What a shame!!! I was just teased!!! I came home and the demo guys showed up at my house 2 hours early to tear out our driveway to the Garage located towards the rear of the property. They went ahead and started the crushing party without me. I got home and they were half way done. I told the owners brother that his Brother said 3PM and he said we got here at 1PM. I said what if I changed my mind (Kidding of course) 7 guys, a dump truck, Bobcat with a bucket and jackhammer... 2000 Sqft of concrete up in 5 hours. It was the best $1000 I have spent in a long time. The Hardscape crew show up on Tuesday to start laying pavers for the walk way, drive way and new patio. So my new car is stranded in the Garage until the new driveway is finished. which won't be for another week.

How bad does that suck I can't even wash it...

You'll right about the drive. I've visited there several time, but not in a Porsche. I'd love to do the mountains in a Porsche someday.
