I am looking forward to a PDF file on belt changing and I don't want to slow the project down, but the 3 year age limit on being time to change the belts? Do we have any statistics or word from the belt manufactures to help us on the age limit on belts?

there has been some very time consuming drama in my life lately, from multiple fronts, and it is taking a bit to get clear of it. i have been ticking things off of the list, but it is slow going. i hope to get back on this next week and get it wrapped up.

Having done by belts twice I'd love to see what tools you guys utilized.

Since I've got some time off over the holidays I thought I'd tackle replacing the belts on my car since I haven't gotten around to it yet. Before I start in on that I thought I'd check-in here and see where this is sitting amognst all the other (cool) things you have going on. Any thoughts on an ETA for this guide?

the remodel, which has been taking up most of my time lately, will be done by xmas. after that, i get back onto car stuff. i hope to be able to start looking at the footage this weekend, and then filling in the blanks and finishing up the text.

I'm not close on miles, but overdue on time. I better belt up. Hopefully I'll feel confident in tackling this myself after looking over the epic DIY.

yeah - the belt job itself is pretty straight forward, with only a couple of things to look out for.



timing the cams is a bit more involved, but again, not rocket science.
