Thanks, Sandoval & Duckman, for 968 Forums
#1

I read that Sandoval had to up his bandwidth for 968 Forums. Sorry/Glad to hear that. At the proper moment, you may want to consider a nominal charge for this service. I'd hate to see you cover the costs out of your pocket.

Thanks, Sandoval, Duckman, and whoever else has a hand in this site!

Harvey... thanks for participating it is a joint effort. Dave Greimann is also a Moderator,Dave's also one of the most active technical members participating. The forum is supported at this point by Myself and the sponsors you see to the right so please visit and support their businesses, in return they will stick around. If it were not for them 100% of the costs would come out of my pocket. I said this from the beginning this no matter what this site will never have membership fees. Even with the bandwidth increase costs are still being covered by the sponsors. Thanks for your generosity though. While Nicole and I were discussing plans for the upcoming Colorado Meet over dinner. The topic of how is the new site and the passed .net drama going. (She is well aware of all of the drama over the years) Anyway long story short I was bragging about how well everyone gets along here and that I am thankful for this. My days are up and down some busyer then other this site kills alot of that time. I love the fact that there is always something new to read. So I thank everyone for participating!

every time i look at this site, i see a better and better resource for 968 enthusiasts - it has definitely built itself, in an incredibly short time, to being indispensible - almost 400 members strong now, very active, and with no petty bickering, this site is rapidly becoming everything eric envisioned it could be when he built it as a solution to the failings of the old site

eric et all, again, good on ya

one technology which could be added would be the capability for sound to accompany posts.. you don't believe me ? just read flash's words above and imagine some patriotic music playing in the background - a tune or two from John Philip Sousa perhaps. See ? much more impressive and fitting, isn't it ? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/dry.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

flash, you 'da sound man.. I see a project potential for this forum. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/cool.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

No!!!!!! If you make playing sound .easy..I'll have to get new pipes, delete the muffler, buy a microphone, digitize the sound, etc.
