TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE NEEDED
#1

Hi Folks,

This website is in desperate need of an upgrade.

We are running an ancient version of (.php 5), and need to upgrade to .php 8 as soon as possible.

Josh Stolarz, who has been absolutely stellar in supporting this site does not have time (but he would support) has created a band-aid solution, but without upgrades it is only a matter of time before this site crashes.

If anyone has the skill, and time, to work with me on this upgrade I would be forever grateful. We have always pledged to keep this site free, but we don't have enough cash to pay an expert.

Contact me here, or on my Email JKravitz968@GMail.com

Thanks in adavance,

Jay

I had my guy downgrade mine because after he upgraded it, I couldn't figure out how to add my blog posts or new photos.

I have had my site for a long time and I asked him how much to make a new one for a friend's business he said they start at 10K.

Totally spit my drink out...Holy Crap!

Good luck. I can make a small donation, that's about it.

Jay may i ask what the Forum needs to raise to refigure the update. Perhaps if we had a dollar amount members could place a value on their donation.

I'm hoping one of our very intelligent members can help in actually doing the work so I don't need to go outside. The dollar value is very small for the software, but the backup and reloading (without losing data) is my concern.

Regards,

Jay

Can you just back it up as if it were a regular PC? I large external drive is pretty cheap nowadays. I use acronis for back-ups...

or Maybe I don't know what I am talking about..
