Superbowl LII
#21

All of the blame rests with the state of Washington's pot legalization last year ; " - duuude, sure we can win by giving Marshwan the ball, but like, tossing it up instead would be soooo dope .." :-) :-)

I'm not a fan of either team, either, but after watching the game, last-two-minutes-of-the-game theatrics notwithstanding, I do believe the better team won.

Congrats Philly, a well deserved win in what was one of the great SB games in recent memory .!!! I sincerely enjoyed watching it ( contrary to my earlier statement that I'll probably just watch the ads and fast forward through the game , lol - I take that back ! )

Yeah, I wasn't really all that interested in the game, and was planning on doing other things tonight (mostly 968-related), but I couldn't pull myself away from the game.  I thought the total yardage gained by the two teams was going to reach one mile - it wasn't all that far off!  Not exactly a defensive stalemate, but a very exciting game from beginning to end.

I salute Nick Foles who was a college QB in AZ. (Even if he attended the wrong AZ college).

Did you notice Steph was booed when the field jumbotron camera stopped on him sitting there in the crowd  ?    What the heck was that all about ?!!!       The game was not played in Cleveland for heaven's sake !

Well, with Jimmy G at the helm , and a 5-0 record after he took over , there's hope ...

Yeah, I think when Jimmy G. is in a casual conversation with someone who brings up the word "lose", he has to scramble to his smart phone to look up the meaning of the word, lol.  Plus, the Niners have the most space under the salary cap of any NFL team, including the lowly Browns, so they should be able to pick up a slew of top players.

Whoever wins, let's hope they don't celebrate victory by rioting , the way some Eagles fans did. Though in all fairness , Eagles fans are not the only ones engaging in destruction of property and similar displays of idiocy ..a few other teams ( and other sports - a couple of NBA championships ended in riots as well.. ) are just as guilty . But one Eagles fan on Sunday ( wearing a Cunningham jersey I believe ) has committed what has to be one of ( if not THE ) most disgusting post game act in human history, which I can't possibly post here, but just look it up. And up until now I thought punching horses, was revolting enough ..

What you latte kale eating west coasters don’t get is that this is Phillie. Don’t forget years ago they put a magesterial court in the stadium to take care of various difficulties.

I can neither confirm nor deny that specific behavior, but there is verifiable evidence that there were more arrests made in New England territory on Sunday than in Philadelphia.

Philly just has such a bad reputation from years ago that if someone chipped their teacup patting another fan on the back it would be reported as rioting and mayhem.

Don't believe everything you read.

Not articles, these were all videos  ( unless some of 'yuze East Coast conspiracy theorists claim they were digitally altered or fabricated in a studio by West Coast left-wing elitist techno-geeks just to make Philly fans look bad ).  But I agree with Jay re the Boston arrests, even though it's mostly hearsay, its definitely plausible.  In fairness however, the losing team fans have more of a reason to be angry and bent on destruction . The winning team fans only have an excuse to drink and celebrate, without doing much damage ..

sheesh, Bob (  RAP  ) , this east coast-west coast banter is nearly as contentious as the 968 coupe vs cab debate ..
