From February through November there is a weekly gathering of a few of the local cars in Redmond Towne Center. Redmond, a Seattle suburb, is the home of Microsoft. A connection maybe?

Well, there are planned gatherings of this nature in a lot of cities ( the coffee n cars weekend crowd ) , but I think the writers' point is that on any given day just walking around there you spot a multitude of "daily driver " exotic cars ..

I've become an almost weekly Cars and Coffee attendee...so far, I have not seen another 968 in any of the 5 locations I have attended.

Whoops, I of course meant 968! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wacko.png" class="smilie" alt="" />

Which location do you attend, Jay? It looks like there are several just in Central Maryland. Is this thing pretty prolific?

Plannerphil, come to cars and coffee at the Hunt Valley Towne Center by Wegman's. Lots of great cars and on the rare occasion when I'm not on travel I bring my 968. There's a 968 from Virginia that occasionally comes also. Saturdays, 8-10am.

Yes that is my red 968 in that article.

I live in PA, have been to cars and coffee in

Doylestown, PA,

West Chester, PA

Princeton, NJ

Mt. Laurel, NJ

Cherry Hill, NJ

Just do a search and you will likely find a group in your area.

I like to go because it's not a car show, just a group of enthusiasts...show up when you want, chat about cars, leave when you want.

Our local group sometimes has activities afterward (detailing clininc, covered bridge tours, bbq, etc.)
