ok so the part number quoted was superceeded in 2006 from 000 043 203 33 to 000 043 206 56,

 

the first part number is for these cars,



 

the superseeded

 

is for these



 

as far as I know none of these have the Vane type pump that we have in 924 / 944 / 968, so i think you are correct wrong fluid

Found except in WSM.  Calls for Dextron II-D.  Which is no longer made.   Dextron III maybe as close as I can get.

Dexron 4 should be backward compatible

 

Dexron IV, I we can still buy Dexron II here, I would have a search around, I used Comma Oils PSF1 as it was backwards compatible
