Stealthing it up?
#1

So I saw one of you has the supercharger lettering on the back, what have others done, to go opposite, and make things look more factory?  I like that the hoses are all black, not the original blue.  The only thing in the engine bay that makes it look not stock is the K&N filter.  Has anyone done anything to make it blend in a little more around the airbox?  Or closed it off, so when the hood is open, it looks more stock?

Curious.  No reason otherwise (No carb or inspection reason I have to worry about).  Bob did a very clean kit, I just want to go a step further!

Would something like this http://www.jegs.com/i/K%26N/599/RC-5052AB/10002/-1?CAWELAID=1710613038&CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=15769068431&CATCI=pla-210003722231&gclid=CN2LndjP7s4CFYxahgodRQgI0w

Cause even more air flow restriction that would be detrimental?  I imagine it would.

Just spit balling ideas, most likely the current solution is best.  Does K&N make a all black filter at least?

no - you need every bit of the surface area of the filter in the kit.

you can get a "sock" for that filter from summit.  it works well. for the life of me i can't seem to find the part number though

the air cleaner is a 4690

Thanks, so something like this:  http://www.knfilters.com/search/product....hgodsjoLQQ

I don't like chrome and I don't like branding, so I would of course put the k@n huge logo down Smile
