That was my point from the start of this thread. hence the "nonsense" sub topic. And Smokie was right. I had nothing to do at work and no comments to add to the other threads. But hey, I'll update everyone tomorrow on how that cup taste.

How about a daily report on the quality of your newest cup of coffee?

So wait, you are going to report on the taste of the coffee or the taste of the cup? Need more fiber?

Oh so glad you asked Patrick, may i call you Pat?

The day started with an annoying drive down the B/W PKY. As many of you in the DC area know, there are only 2 lanes on this PKY. As I'm driving in at about 70MPH I come upon a trail of cars all doing, now get this, about 58MPH YES, these people are actually below 60. I come off of the throttle and coast up about a cars length to the guy trailing the pack and still had to apply the brakes. Sigh. As I look up ahead, about 9 cars up were 2 cars matching each others speed and not allowing anyone to pass. This went on for about 8 miles, all the way up to the Arundel Mills exit (*&! .

This is where my much needed coffee stop took place this AM. I enter the SB @ Arundel Mills BLVD, the line is longer then usual, about 8 people. After a short wait and some friendly chit chat with a couple of marines in line, I order... Drum roll...

A Venti triple Cinnamon Dolce. Temperature was good, Nice and HOT, Perfect for a cold day. The extra shot was just the right touch to offset the sweetness. And the verdict. It taste the same as my last C. Dolce.

So, the quest continues tomorrow for the improved SB drink.

Stay tuned

You know I had a Starbucks Mocha not to long ago and I am convinced that Starbucks has successfully developed a sugar delivery system thinly disquised as a cup of coffee. It definitely wasen't a caffene rush that I experienced.

Peet's rocks ! Starbucks "coffee" is for emergency cases only where you have caffeine withdrawals and gotta have any fix within minutes
