I'm guessing his engine, an unassuming motorist, or he is next on the list.

That is, assuming these are true stories.

silly. I don't see that so often around here which is nice. rennlist seems to be a bit more restrained also. . . but I hang out with the 928 crowd over there and they're more low key anyways.

Nothing like a 22 year old kid blowing down a highway at 140+ in a car with way too much power. What are the odds he's checking tire pressures daily? Uh, zero.

That's where these photos come from.

In one of my posts I related the story of some young kid who thought it would be cool to outrun my 968 with his rice rocket, which he did and then promptly blew up the engine while he was in front of me. I got hit with engine oil and engine parts. As far as I am concerned they are all idiots, but then when I was a senior in high school I owned a Chevy Bel Aire 409 CID.That car had so much power you had to sheet metal screw the tires onto the rims to keep from twisting the tires right off the wheels when you got hard on the power.

Then again, I did all my racing at the drag strip. In my home town if the cops caught you drag racing you could expect to pay a fine of $2 dollars for every mph you were over the speed limit. A steep fine when you could by 100 octane fuel for 17 cents a gallon.
