Wow, I hardly noticed the changes...

Over the past 2 years 968Forums has grown and changed. Two different forums have grown out of this great site. The first, is a dynamic, encyclopedic library of information that will help you to maintain, restore, and modify your 968 with the most up to date and accurate information available anywhere in the world.
The second 968Forums is the social network that has grown out of on-line comeraderie, social events and casual meetings that has made being part of this group so great.
It has become increasingly difficult to seperate the 2 worlds we (the members) have created. In the spirit of trying to keep the 2 apart, we have created <b>"The Pub" section.</b> Obviously, this is the place for Events/Get Togethers, general chat, Non-968 specific conversations, etc.
I ask you, in the nicest possible way, to please moderate yourselves to keep the info with the info, and the chat with the chat. Try to post as though the information stored on this site will last here for 100 years.
I have been accused of Moderating too little on this site, and (ahem...) "other moderators" of being too heavy handed. In the end, I think the site is moderated far less than the kidddie Honda or Mazda sites because we have a different audience and we are so closely held. I promise to try and be gentle in nudging topics back into line if they go too far afield, feel free to yell at me if I become a PITA. I have urged (ahem...) "other moderators" to try and relax and enjoy the scenery a bit more, which he has promised to do if we can reduce the amount of thread moving, etc.
Please do your part and help us to stay on topic and organized in the Encyclopedia part of the forum, and don't forget to post the $5 = 500HP widgets in our more conversational areas. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]
